JUDGING – 100% WRITTEN SUBMISSION

This category recognises excellence in the design, planning, and delivery of a memorable event. Entries will be judged entirely on a written submission of no more than 1,500 words, with an accompanying appendix of supporting documents, images, and relevant materials. Submissions should demonstrate innovation, creativity, and professionalism in delivering outstanding events during the qualifying period.

The written submission should address the essential elements listed here plus the following:

CATEGORY SPECIFIC QUESTIONS

• Outline the event concept, including objectives, theme, and target audience.
• Describe the end-to-end planning and delivery, including logistics, staffing, staging, and technical execution.
• Demonstrate how the event experience was tailored to engage attendees, including entertainment choices aligned to the audience.
• Provide an overview of budget management and how value was delivered.
• Detail sponsor involvement (if applicable), including integration and outcomes.
• Evidence of marketing, promotion, and communication leading up to the event.
• Include examples of menus, beverages, or catering options relevant to the event.
• Outline any challenges encountered and how they were overcome.
• Include supporting materials in the appendix (e.g. photos, floor plans, menus, testimonials).
