ELIGIBLE FOR ENTRY INTO THE AHA NATIONAL AWARDS

VOUCHER OR JUDGING FUNDS REQUIRED: to fund one night’s accommodation (standard apartment), breakfast allowance and parking for two adults to cover the cost of judging. 

CRITERIA FOR ENTRY: To qualify for this category, the property must offer fully self-contained accommodation with a kitchen or kitchenette and have been in operation for at least six (6) months at the time of nomination.

THE JUDGES WILL BE ASSESSING THE FOLLOWING POINTS:

• The level and quality of services provided to guests
• The appearance and quality of accommodation rooms and overall property
• Room décor, comfort, and condition of fittings
• Staff presentation, professionalism, and anticipation of guest needs
• Food and beverage offerings and how they complement the accommodation experience (where applicable)
• Additional guest benefits and services provided
• Facilities available (conference, leisure, concierge, etc., where applicable)
• Theme, character, atmosphere, and overall guest experience
• Security, safety, and evidence of environmental sustainability best practice
