2026 AHA ACT People's Choice Competition

Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these terms and conditions.

Any entry not complying with these terms and conditions is invalid.

Eligibility for voters:

Entrants must be a resident of the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) aged 18 and above.

Competition commences at 12:01am AEST on Monday 10 August 2026 and closes at 11:59pm AEST on Sunday 6 September 2026. All online entries received after this date will be ineligible. To be eligible to enter during the competition period, each entrant must complete the online entry form. Online entries must be submitted via www.ahaawardsact.com.au/peoples-choice providing the nominated ACT based venue name and suburb.

One (1) entry is permitted per entrant per day during the competition period.

Prizes:

There will be four (4) opportunities for "Entrants” to win a $250 TCN Pub & Bar Gift Card. Winners will be randomly drawn from all eligible entries received to win one (1) TCN Pub & Bar Gift Card valued at the maximum retail value of $250 to be used for food and beverages at the “Entrant” winner’s favourite AHA ACT member venue.

The entrant winners of the $250 TCN Pub & Bar Gift Cards will be notified via email (as supplied on the entry form). The entrant winners will receive a digital $250 TCN Pub & Bar Gift Card via the email address provided on entry so it can be used straight away.

Winners of the gift cards will be notified by email as follows:

Winner #1: Monday 17 August 2026
Winner #2: Monday 24 August 2026
Winner #3: Monday 31 August 2026
Winner #4: Monday 7 September 2026

The entrant winners of the $250 TCN Pub & Bar Gift Cards agree to the use of their name and suburb for publicity and promotional purposes without compensation.

Eligibility for venues to be considered for the AHA ACT People’s Choice Award:

Any venue who is a current member of AHA ACT is eligible to win this award. Competition commences at 12:01am AEST on Monday 10 August 2026 and closes at 11:59pm AEST on Sunday 6 September 2026.

The People’s Choice Award winner will be the venue that receives the highest number of valid online entries at the conclusion of the competition period.

The AHA ACT reserves the right to verify the validity of all online entries received and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process or for submitting an entry which is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry.

The venue awarded the 2026 AHA ACT People’s Choice will be announced at the 2026 AHA ACT Awards for Excellence and online at www.ahaawardsact.com.au on Monday 21 September 2026.

The AHA ACT may in its sole discretion disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of submission via the online entry form. The AHA ACT will use information submitted to select the winner of the AHA ACT People’s Choice Award.
